Description : Pressure Vessel & Heat Exchanger Consulting
- Challenge: to reduce an overall delay of 4 months in the Pressure Vessel consulting process, and study of different scenario according project planning and suppliers localization.
- Mission :
- Check of drawing for consulting
- Technical requisitions
- Choice of suppliers’ panel for consulting
- Technical & Financial Analysis of proposals
- Technical alignment
- Management of drawing & calculation team
- Analysis of regulation criteria
- Analysis of equipment criteria
- Analysis of potential malfunction
- Analysis of different scenario for construction and supply according supplier location (costs & delays)

- Documents not available
- Main errors on calculation notes
- No resources on equipment drawing
- Main Difficulty :
- The chosen company for the realization of both calculation notes and drawings had neither available resources for this project, nor qualified calculator, nor skilled people on mechanical. What is more it was the company who rented me, and I had to fire them on this particular task ! (I get fired from this company afterwards)
- Solutions :
- Standardization of technical requisitions
- 3 days Mission into the calculation company to correct all calculation notes
- 2 new people to draw all equipment
- Study of different planning according the various scenario possible (location, cost, delays)
Feedback : Reducing to 1 month over-delay only for the Pressure Vessel consulting, and reducing of 3 months of the overall construction planning, by optimization of Pressure Vessel construction using different suppliers on different countries (costs, delays, transportation optimization)
