  • Challenges:

On the K914 project, all tenders written in 8 to 10 weeks in order to consult all companies needed to perform the job during the September Plant shutdown.

On the APC project, despite a late start (mid-May), all tenders done in time, all job carried out during the September Plant shutdown

 

  • Major achievements:
  • On the project K914 (replacement of an Autoclave), development in the time of all the consultations. Choice of all providers. A big downside however, only a few tenders wanted to come in the area where the project was carried out. The date of achievement was the same than major Oil & Gas or Chemistry Shutdown in the Lyon area, and our plant was too far from big cities. The overall planning of the project has been revised in order to take this phenomenon, unfortunately not anticipated by the original project team.

 

  • On the APC project (changes of various lines for future Automation), development in the time of all the consultations. Choice of all providers. Work done on time, preliminary inspection record included.
